Language relies on various cognitive processes
Animals cannot speak like humans due to the different structures in their anatomy.
Humans have a gene which allows then to piece words and sentences together.
Their is a direct link between the brain and language that we use.

Thank you for your comments. I hope the programme helped put some our the ideas discussed in class into context. When writing your blog, do try to treat it as an essay - it is really good practice to put your ideas into sentences and develop your ideas accordingly. We shall now move from understanding to application, as we develop our AO2 through these ideas.
